Public meeting: Stop Bush's War on Iraq!
Thursday, Sept. 26, 7:30 pm
Room M1, Student Alumni Union, RIT campus
President Bush went before the United Nations and
demanded that Iraq admit weapons inspectors into the
country. When Iraq said OK, the U.S. replied, that
doesn't change anything, and plans for a war--with or
without U.N. approval--will go ahead.
Why won't the Bush gang take "yes" for an answer?
Because they were never in fact concerned with weapons
inspections. (If you want to find nuclear, chemical,
and biological "weapons of mass destruction" in the
Middle East, look in Israel, not Iraq.)
What is really behind Bush's drive to war? What
interests will profit, and who will pay the costs? Is
there anything ordinary people can do to stop it?
