On Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at 7:00 PM, ROCLA will show the film César Chávez, which tells the story of the Mexican American civil rights leader and labor organizer and the fight of the farm worker community and allies to improve working conditions and secure living wages for farm workers.

The film will be followed by a brief discussion about Agricultural Workers in NYS and current campaigns that aim to improve the working conditions of farm workers in our area. We will have people from the Worker Justice Center of New York to join this discussion. Pop corn and hot chocolate will be offered to the attendees.
