General Interest Meeting - Rochester Direct Action Training Collective
Ever been part of a movement that had momentum but you or others in your the movement didn't feel confident in engaging in nonviolent direct action? On November 11 at 6:30pm at the Flying Squirrel Community Space those interested in building a cross-movement network (e.g., climate justice, fracking, peace, worker's rights, housing justice, police accountability, etc.) of trainers and skillsets around nonviolent direct action will be meeting to pool our resources and knowledge to develop basic trainings curriculum, recruit trainers, plan trainings, and other ways to disseminate the capacities for social movements in and around Rochester to engage in mass nonviolent direct action.
