Honkala ran for Sheriff of Philadelphia on a no evictions platform. In 2012 she was the Green Party's  nominee for Vice President in the last U.S. presidential election. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election,_2012" rel="nofollow" target="_blank"> </a>  Come learn about what poor and homeless people are doing around the country to fight back against their invisibility. A panel of local experts and activists will discuss what is needed to ensure housing as a human right for everyone in our community.
