Flying Squirrel hosts Presentation on Climate Change

The May 7 2014 headline in the New York Times makes it very clear.  “U.S. Climate Has Already Changed, Study Finds, Citing Heat and Floods”  What we thought was a problem in the distant future is a problem now.

Dr George "Sandy" Lawrence is a retired MD from Bellingham, Washington.  He has studied, taught, and been active in, the issues surrounding the state of our earth and the role that humans are playing in the disruption of the climate.

This interesting and thought-provoking presentation explains the causes of climate change both physical and political and outlines what must be done to mitigate it.

Dr. Lawrence is a graduate of Stanford University; Medical School at the University of Missouri at Columbia, and his Residency in Family Practice at the UC San Francisco. He practiced for many years in both California and Washington.
