Known as a birth control crusader and the Father of the Abortion Rights Movement, in 1967 Bill Baird was convicted and sent to prison for giving birth control to unmarried people. He has appeared three times before the U.S.

November 20th: Transgender Day of Remembrance

The 10th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance is coming up on Thursday, November 20th. Several activities are being planned, which we hope you will consider attending.

At noontime on Thursday, there will be a gathering and vigil at the Liberty Pole in downtown Rochester to remember the dead and to call attention to the violence against transgender people. More details will follow.

Our hearts are full of sadness and rage because our sister Sali was brutally raped and murdered 20 minutes from San Jose del Pacifico and up to this moment the Oaxacan Attorney General's Office, as is its custom, is not doing anything regarding the fact that there exist witnesses who have information to identify those responsible.

Our home is still the Flying Squirrel Community Space at 285 Clarissa St. Occasionally, we hold meetings at RCTV located at 21 Gorham Street.
