...As I was listening to him go on and on about what a huge and growing influence of "liberalism", I thought to myself, what f*ing planet is this jerk living on?

Why does the media hire generals to discuss the war in Iraq but not the doctors treating the wounded, nor historians and peace activists in order to give a full perspective on such a traumatic event? How else will people fully understand the complexity of the important issues of today unless they are given balanced viewpoints from a variety of sources?

Hundreds of photographs of flag-draped coffins at Dover Air Force Base were released on the Internet yesterday by a website dedicated to combating government secrecy. Links to stories by the New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times.
