The State Convention for Peace and Freedom Party will convene on Saturday, August 2 and 3 at the Hawthorn Suites, 321 Bercut Drive, Sacramento California. At the convention Brian Moore, Gloria La Riva, Ralph Nader, and Cynthia McKinney will be seeking the Peace and Freedom Party’s presidential nomination. This coming Tuesday, the 22 of July, presidential contender John McCain and the straight talk express will be visiting the Rochester Opera House for a town meeting event at 10:30 in the morning.
This will be the day after he visits Bush in Kennebunkport.
There will be local, state and national press coverage so we want McCain and the country to know his policies of continuing the Iraq war and Middle East intervention while ignoring domestic needs is not acceptable.

There is no easy fix for the ailing U.S. economy, and Barack Obama and John McCain are not prepared to make the necessary changes that will protect the interests of working people.
