                • Last year i joined a group of individuals who claimed to want to clear the world of evil that has manifested in many forms, such as gangs being their main objective. I saw this as an opportunity to do much more good in the world, not just declare war on gangs. It had the potential to change the world, make it a more peaceful and honor filled place to live. But as i spent some time with them as leader of one of the divisions i quickly came to realize the futility of this groups endevour. They are young, inexperienced, unorganized, and naive. When i joined they had a no tolerance policy on deserters, yet i left knowing this. Expecting swift retribution for my discrepancy i braced for my own war with them. But as time passed nothing was done, sure there was a brief conflict of words between the clan and kitsune and i, but other than that there was nothing. One would expect something along the lines of an assasination attemp from a clan of ninja's no? but i was mistaken, they have nothing along the lines of miltary might, maby a few individual strong members but as an overall they are weak. Speaking of weak, how about how many times they have juggled leaders arounds? Doesnt show good leadership and organization. Why would the groups founder leave and come back so many times? and wheres the no tolerance for desertion there as well? I dont see Tora dead yet and im also still here, Kitsune ran back like a coward. and how many members do the have? 200 maby?...not very menacing compared to the thousands upon millions their enemies posses. I must say, from an outside and inside perspective...their goal is impossible for them. it cant happen. they cant even take care of Bash Back, a bunch of homo's and trannies. they odds lay heavily in their enimies favor and undenyably against them. there was supposed to be an operation the summer of this year hat would send a message and crippling blow to Bash Back, did it happen? No. Why? Easy, incompetence. But also, facing an insurmountable foe is also not the best way to go about things. Dont get me wrong, in no way am i complimenting Bash Back in any way. Im just saying that the goal is unachievable in the way they are going about it, if they are even trying at all (which i doubt they are trying). If they went about their goals in a different manner then possibly, just possibly they can have an impact on the world. Which brings me to my intention in writing all this. The Getsuei Yajuu needs to emerge from the shadows, make themselves know to the world. With this in mind i post a challenge to them in the public eye. Stage and carry out an effective mission against any of your enemies, that sends a blow straight to their core. i dont care which enemy that is, but it must be large enough in scale to make it to the news on either the internet or a national tv program, internet being any of the indymedia sites that they were so fond of in the begining or anything noticeable like yahoo news, ect. I will say it once more, carry out an operation large enough to catch the attention of the national news. the only thing that is debateable is a time limit.....how about 7 months from january 1st 2010. that gives you until July 1st 2010 to produce results. However if you cannot complete this task...then you will be publicly proven to be a failure organization with no future. Sounds like an interesting game no? Win and you will be recognized as a powerful force that has developed from the best warriors in the world, but fail and your reputation and pride will never recover. you will forever hold the sign of failure over your heads, no one will take you seriously or fear your wrath, and fear is one thing a warrior must alwasy hold over their enemies heads. Does the Getsuei Yajuu have what it takes to overcome their enemies in a single large scale instance? I wait eagerly to find out how much power they have aquired since i have been gone...do not dissapoint me my former comrades, hell i might even consider returning if you can prove yourself worthy of returning to. Now, without further delays, show me your strength, resolve, cunningness, and ability. If any of the Getsuei Yajuu wish to contact me and talk their usual crap then send it to this email. kenseitheblade@yahoo.com Anything else just post a comment if you wish to express your opinion and you are not in the Getsuei Yajuu, this will probably be blocked soon enough anyways. Im interested to here from you Getsuei Yajuu and also to see how well you do on this test of mine. Kensei Tachikaze.

Account Creation Policy Change

Rochester Indymedia is now requiring editor approval for account creation.

We came to this decision after we had repeated spam posted to our website that caused difficulty with the website's functioning.  We will still have open publishing and keep our site as nonrestrictive and accessible as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.  As before, we will continue to be Rochester's grassroots news and education site.  Thank you for your continued support and remember, "Don't hate the media, be the media!"

Editorial Meeting Times / Locations

The Rochester Independent Media Center (R-IMC) is no longer meeting regularly.
We will set up meetings by necessity and appointment. Please contact us at rochesterindymedia@rocus.org.
Our home is still the Flying Squirrel Community Space at 285 Clarissa St. Occasionally, we hold meetings at RCTV located at 21 Gorham Street.
