In the letter they asserted they would not help the Israeli Army to occupy Palestinian territory and rules over Palestinian life. Since military service is mandatory for Israeli Jews once they have completed high school many of them including her were eventually sentenced to military prison. Some were sentenced to military prison multiple times. Cornell United for Peace and Justice in Palestine will be sponsoring this speaking event.
