The anti-war movement in rochester ny, will be marching right behind the traditional memorial day parade. The war in irag has not ended and the obama administration is already in full gear escalating the war in afganistan. The US unmanned drones attacks inside of pakistan is causing death and destruction to thousands of civilians, at a moment when the US econmy is sliping into a depression. This new war effort will continue to drain the US economy for years to come unless the peace movement grows strong enough to put an end to these occupations.THE WAR CONTINUES, and therefore the anti-war movement needs to step up its efforts to put an end to these new war efforts.

PETER MARES and his children from the immigrant rights movement will be staging a PROTEST against the practice of the boyscouts of using images of undocumented immigrants as terrorist in their illegal war games.

MEET AT ARNOLD PARK:
(corner of east ave and arnold park st)
AT:10:45am
YOUR PRESENCE WILL BE HIGLY APRECIATED

THE WAR CONTINUES,IRAG, AFGANISTAN, PAKISTAN.

Account Creation Policy Change

Rochester Indymedia is now requiring editor approval for account creation.

We came to this decision after we had repeated spam posted to our website that caused difficulty with the website's functioning.  We will still have open publishing and keep our site as nonrestrictive and accessible as possible.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us.  As before, we will continue to be Rochester's grassroots news and education site.  Thank you for your continued support and remember, "Don't hate the media, be the media!"

Editorial Meeting Times / Locations

The Rochester Independent Media Center (R-IMC) is no longer meeting regularly.
We will set up meetings by necessity and appointment. Please contact us at rochesterindymedia@rocus.org.
Our home is still the Flying Squirrel Community Space at 285 Clarissa St. Occasionally, we hold meetings at RCTV located at 21 Gorham Street.
