On November 18th, the New York State Legislature will meet to decide how to close NYS's short-term $1.5 billion deficit. In times when New York's neediest residents and working families are getting hit the hardest, we need a state government that will protect the programs we depend on. We must demand that our representatives in Albany: -Invest in our communities to make the economy stronger, -Protect the neediest New Yorkers, and -Require those New Yorkers who have the most to contribute their fair share.
