Former local Green Party Chair, Dave Atias, along with Keziah Kelsey and Erick Rodriguez announce the start of a new weekly podcast called The Stuart Bedasso Show.
(Rochester, NY) – Four Rochester natives have come together to create a weekly, online podcast called The Stuart Bedasso Show. Dave Atias, Keziah Kelsey and Erick Rodriguez make up the regular, on-air talent.
The Stuart Bedasso Show, slated to be available for downloading on February 1st, will be a 60-minute talk and music show and will feature independent music from local, national and international artists. Topics will include culture, current events and politics.
Atias, who recently finished his term as co-chair of the Green Party of Monroe County said, “I’m very excited about this opportunity to continue to share ideas with some really intelligent, funny and expressive people in ways I haven’t been able to as a group spokesperson. Because it’s an independently-produced internet show, we can say what we want, how we want and play some really cool music as well. It’s going to be a great time for us to make the show and for people to hear it.â€
Kelsey, who is in the process of starting up a non-profit organization to help families involved in the foster care system added, “I'm really looking forward to this show, I think this will be a unique and exciting blend of ideas, music and general carousing.â€
Rodriguez, who works, cautions listeners that the show may not be for everyone. “We’re going to talk about things as real adults do. Like we already do, but now with microphones.â€
After a few months, the group plans to enhance the show with live guests, phone interviews with people from all over the country and interact with listeners on the show via phone and webcam.
A podcast is a media file that is distributed by subscription (paid or unpaid) over the Internet using syndication feeds, for playback on mobile devices and personal computers. (via Wikipedia)
