Coming runaway global warming is more important than food, water and air because it directly pre-empts the availability of all these as it forms in aggregating positive feedback loops. This topic is more important than social and economic justice even though we humans will get nowhere towards satisfactory ammeliation efforts against global warming without socio-economic REVOLUTION--NOW. Why is revolution not being directly discussed? Are more than 99.99% of you asleep sheep? Remember and research that METHANE CH4 is 23x (minimum) the global warming agent that CO2 is and works right away to warm the atmosphere. Part of this is because CH4 is a larger molecule with a larger surface area. Start reeding peer reviewed articles in the science mags about this right now, such as Science, Nature and many others. The CO2 problem is bad and unavoidable enough. However, the CH4, methane, threat factor in the positive feedback loops of global warming now aggregating, is far worse and needs to be addressed by the left and radical community(s) NOW! There are thousands of billions of tons of CH4 very inadequately trapped in hydrates in the ocean outside of the &quot;bad enough&quot; 450GT melting rapidly in Siberia at this time. CH4 is melting and being released from permafrost deposits in Siberia (450GT minimum). There are about 750GT total of C02 in the atmosphere right now. We are adding (more than 50% from the USA) more than 7GT of CO2 more each year to the atmosphere. Normal interglacial total atmospheric CO2 is 550GT (gigaton is a billion tons) If CH4 works pretty much right away and it all melts in the next 10 years or so from this one source in Siberia alone, we're looking at a warming effect many dozens of times worse than what we are so far NOT experiencing yet from the slower process of CO2 effects. Carbon binding, means plant fast growing trees about a USDA zone warmer EVERYWHERE there's empty land. CARBON BINDING is important and not without risks. We will have quite a lot of warming anyway. Some plants produce methane when too warm. Expanding and preserving species diversity is also quite complex. That means we need most humans or at least BILLIONS of humans to become expert at ecology and creating contrived ecosystems because we will have to move ecosystems on a continuous basis soon as in NOW and more and more each year. STEWARDSHIP of the environment we're fucking up is the role for humanity in the overall earth ecosystem. Again, if we avoid and play cognitively dissonant and prepare our children for school and college and their futures that are not coming at all as you see them, we all die and take 80% of 15,000,000 or so other species with us.
