The Irish Echo Censors Republican Voices

Now the readership must consider whether their First amendment rights are to be diluted by the new Irish born ownership, who was raised on the Dublin governments state sponsored censorship under the draconian Section 31 that still exists in self censorship form also for political matters<br /><br />This refusal to accept the ad is unfortunate because the Echo prides itself on its openness and fairness as the largest Irish American newspaper. We in the NIFC are wondering if the Irish Echo are following the same Bush policy of visa denial of Irish Republicans with the right of Irish Americans to express their point of view.
