BUSH ANTIWAR PROTEST TUESDAY MORNING IN GREECE
SHOW BUSH THAT ROCHESTER OPPOSES HIS IRAQ WAR AND OCCUPATION!
Many of us will be gathering at the Liberty Pole on Tuesday at 1:30 to protest Bush’s attack on Social Security.
Many activists also want a presence closer to where Bush will speak, at Greece Athena High School, earlier in the day.
WE CAN DO BOTH!
Rochester Against War (RAW) will be holding an antiwar demonstration in Greece, and we encourage everyone to join us. Bring signs opposing the Iraq War and Occupation and US militarism.
We will be meeting at the Latta Road Wegman's parking lot at 9:00 am. The store is located at 3177 Latta Rd., at the corner of Long Pond Rd. The Wegman's is within walking distance to Greece Athena and the lot is huge.
(We decided on 9:00 a.m. to beat the lockdown of the area by Secret Service and local security forces. If you must come later, you’ll be able find us in the vicinity. Bush is scheduled to speak at 11AM.)
