Transfered from old site <!--break--> With less then a days notice 25 people gathered outside the War Memorial in Rochester, NY where Hillary Clinton was having a $250 a plate fundraising dinner. The protest was attended by a somewhat large contingent of “Raging Grannies” and university students. One large 60ft. banner read “EARTH TO HILLARY: NO IRAQ WAR” became the target of some fuss by the Rochester Police Department who said that it had to be moved or those holding it would be arrested. Protesters told the officer that the sign was in now way prohibiting anyone from accessing the sidewalk and refused to move. The protesters called the officers bluff and no arrests were made. Overall the action was a success in light of the short notice.
