General Orders for the Monroe County Sheriff's Office (Jail and Police Bureau, 2018)
Primary tabs
The Jail Bureau of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office runs the downtown Rochester jail, the jail facility in Brighton and the forensic unit at the Rochester Psychiatric Center. The Jail Bureau General Orders (JBGO) are the directives they operate under.
This document is the result of a Freedom of Information Law request to the County of Monroe in August 2018. The following records were received in February 2019, but the most recent update of any of the orders contained within is March 2018. It is therefore possible that some of the orders are not the most current anymore.
Furthermore the County withheld some of the orders without stating specific reasons. Based on the observation that the orders are sequentially numbered, it seems reasonable to assume that they withheld JBGO 11, 19, 20, and 43. The following table of contents was created based on the received orders.
