ATOMIC SWINDLERS DEBUT MULTIMEDIA SHOW
Local Visual Artists JOin the Atomic Swindlers to Premier Multimedia Show April 1, 2005 at The Club at Waterstreet

Rochester, NY ...  The popular Rochester-based band, The Atomic Swindlers, are pushing the envelope again on April 1, 2005 at The Club at Waterstreet, unveiling a state of the art multi-media event in support of their live performance. They will be collaborating with some of upstate New York's most talented visual artists and photographers.

The Atomic Swindlers have created the persona of the 23rd Century rogue-space heroine April in their debut CD, "Coming Out Electric," and plan to extend the visual concepts by projecting the artists works on to a screen behind the band. The celestial imagery in the songs is the perfect compliment to these artist's futuristic and psychadelic creations. The concert will include, among others,  the wild and fascinating film shorts and photography of Ted Kinsman, as well as the music video for "Float (my electric stargirl)," an original animated piece by award-winning animator, illustrator and director Joel Trussell. Nic Marinaccio of OhmCo Multimedia Service has coordinated the overall creation and design of the show.

April Laragy, lead singer for the Atomic Swindlers says, "We want to give the audience a surreal way to experience the band's music. By collaborating with these artists we are able to celebrate, explore, and connect the space between visual and musical performance... without the use of heavy pharmaceuticals."

The show will be at The Club at Water Street, at 9:00 PM on April 1st.

The Atomic Swindlers enhanced CD "Coming Out Electric" is available at local record stores, such as House of Guitars, Record Archive, Borders, and online at www.atomicswindlers.com.

Re: Atomic Swindlers Debut Multimedia Show

I've seen this band live before. Even without a multi-media show they are awesome.
