Palin Protest
A group of ARAUNY activists traveled to Auburn, NY on short notice to protest a visit by Alaska governor Sarah Palin, specifically because of her relentless murder of animals. Defining herself as prolife, Palin continues to lead Alaska in aerial wolf hunts, and is known for hunting, as evidenced by draped carcass decor in her home and office. Our Pink-Poster-Protest caught the eyes of other activists present, as well as the media.

This is disgusting. You people should be ashamed to heckle anyone, liberal or conservative. Just because she's a conservative feminist doesn't mean you should hate her. Palin is inspiring to millions of people and you should have some respect for them. I'm glad that she's coming to a liberal city even though she won't get as many sales their.

Rochester is NOT a liberal city. It has a tiny, noisy minority of over-educated, suburban bred bourgeoisie who like to make a fashion statement out of appearing 'rebellious', when in fact their commitment to social change of any nature is even more shallow antdtransient than that of their hippie forbears.

Folks are worried about a women who are outdoors sportswoman killing animals while they encourage there daughters and others to seek abortions and eat hamburgers. What is wrong with this picture? Strong independent women are not appreciated by the "so called" strong independent women unless they fit their specific mold. Get a life people.

Who in the heck do you think "encourages their daughters and others to have abortions"? Such an ignorant comment is expected from a Palin supporter. And for the record, people are much more worried about a tragically stupid person believing that she is competent to be the leader of the free world than they are about her outdoor habits. Independent women are turned off by that, and very much turned off by Palin's hate rallies.

She is a guest in our city and will reflect her experiences to the world, good or ill. I should hope we are gracious hosts regardless of opinion.

Sarah Palin is a strong voice for independence and individualism, the backbone of our country. People who boo her are from the prejudiced liberal part of our country who are against women and minorities. They come from the group of people who want to keep the poor of our country on the dole taking handouts from the Democrat party. The party of the President wants to be the master and the poor and minorities the slaves. Booing someone before they can speak and wanting to stop the speech is an action of the slavemaster who doesn't want people to be heard and is against our fundemental freedom of speech.
