I was driving home tonight after dropping a friend off when a police officer pulled me over with their lights on, proceeded to sit behind me for about 2 min., rolled slowly up to the driver side window in their car, turned the lights off, and proceeded to drive down Brooks Ave.

At around 7:30pm, Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, I was turning left from Genesee St. onto Brooks Ave. heading toward the airport as the light was green and soon to turn yellow. Across the intersection was oncoming moving traffic and a police car with its headlights on just sitting there. As I turned the corner, the car turned on its flashers and i pulled over on Brooks. The car sat behind me for a minute or two and then slowly rolled past my driver side window before turning its flashers off and continuing down Brooks Ave. I did not get the ID of the car, but I can't help but feel that this is related, in some way, to the bullshit around the RPD's fucked up behavior from Wednesday night where they cracked heads and put two folks in the hospital.
