LOOKING FOR AREA ARTISTS FOR ART SHOW AND SALE

BWT IS LOOKING FOR AREA ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A RECESSION ART SHOW AND SALE FOR AUGUST 15 (AND POSSIBLY THE 16TH)
Hello All,

I just wanted to remind everyone that we are still looking for area artists for our first annual art show and sale! Please sign up ASAP if you’re interested. This will be a great opportunity to showcase your art, make contact with other artists and make a little bit of money (which in these difficult economic times we can all use).

The arts community in Rochester has seen approximately a 30% decline in revenue this year alone because of the recession, which is crippling much of the regional and national economy. Inspired by these current events, BWT is launching its first fundraising program with an art show and sale on August 15th from 2-7:30pm (with a tentative second day on August 16th from 2-7:30pm if interest warrants) in order to showcase low cost, but high quality, art and artists in the Rochester area. We want to let our community know that in troubling times it is still possible to go to the theatre, listen to live music, enjoy and purchase art. If this sounds like something you’re interested in participating in check out www.breadandwatertheatre.org/artshow2009.htm, call 585.271.5523 or e-mail info (at) breadandwatertheatre.org. Sign up today because space is limited.
