Re: Single Payer Health Care Speak Out Report Back

We have to fight for single payer coverage. It is probably true that most of the senators and representatives are afraid of single payer because their donations from insurance companies would decrease. If there is one industry, besides banking, and financial institutions in general, that uses intimidation and refusal to cover to increase profits IT IS THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY. Maybe if these congress people, and our President for that matter, had to lay awake every night afraid you will get sick and you have no insurance, or try to get insurance and are denied, or have everything they don't want to pay for called a PRE-EXISTING CONDITION they would understand why we need a single payer system. If we don't get single payer now with a democratic congress and President, I will not vote the same way I did this last election I guarantee that. With single payer coverage, no matter how bad it is, I WILL NEVER PAY ANOTHER DIME TO I NSURANCE COMPANIES AGAIN FOR HEALTH INSURANCE. It has to be better than what we now have. Oh, and Max Baucus, you are really pathetic.
