Boy, I musta missed that! cause in 2004 the only violence having to do with cops was NYPD bullies corralling people with fences, making sweeping arrests, throwing people into disgusting makeshift prisons on the piers, and attacking the Poor People's March!
As for "little old ladies," really, don't underestimate our sisters in struggle - I've seen so many Raging Grannies contingents fighting the war that would put any of us younger whippersnappers to shame with their screaming!
Isn't a better question to ask what the hell the political parties have proven since 4 years ago, other than their complete illegitimacy? Oh, and that they like to occupy, torture, exploit, destroy health care, abandon whole communities ravaged by disasters ... and probably scream in the faces of helpless baby kittens stuck in trees. From their limos.
