Love this sites content, the comments are uplifting and the infomation has helped me greatly with my work in art as i am creating a body of work on animal cruelty. The use of animals in circuses has never been bright and cheerful, that is until we are displayed with the pretty colours, shiny lights and wonderful animal tricks we grew up with...sadly its not all fun and games for any animal used in a circus. Living in australia it is so depressing to live near a circus event in which i recently visited to document the lions, monkeys and farm animals used. Such beautiful creatures deserve to be roaming free with natural surroundings... ironically the lions were in pens by a trailor with a raging lion painted poster as they paced, slept and started to try digging their way out, the photos prove the existence of animals in a circus, even with medical care, food, toys and pens still denied the true care they deserve...a natural wild free life. Sorry to ramble on...my point is its great to see sites like these becuase they allow everyday people to become aware of what really goes on at circuses like the Lennon Bros in Australia. Spread the word and soon well hopefully see these horrid forms of entertainment abolished forever worldwide.
